Milano Serravalle – Milano Tangenziali S.p.A. has completed the testing of the new Weigh in Motion system, which is now fully operational! Thanks to the installation of advanced sensors, the concessionaire can now weigh vehicles, detecting any anomalies in the loads of heavy vehicles which, if exceeding the permitted limits, could damage the infrastructure. Milano Serravalle Engineering managed the safety of the construction site for the implementation of the instruments on the northbound carriageway. This project is part of a broader digitalization process of the motorway network and demonstrates how technological innovation can become a valuable ally in ensuring safer roads for everyone.
