Milano Serravalle Engineering develops projects to increase road safety on the East (A51) and North (A52) Ring Roads of Milan, which are under the responsibility of Milano Serravalle.
Around 84 km of side and central safety barriers on the roadways and ramps of A51 highway, and 49 km on the A52, will be replaced with new “triple wave” or New Jersey barriers. Moreover, lighting systems will be renewed. Protective structures will also be constructed for areas requiring special safety conditions, such as bridge piers which will be protected with redirective barriers.
